IBCA SANCTIONED
Wanna be recognized as one of the top 10 IBCA Cookers of the year? Here’s your chance to rack up points. As an IBCA Sanctioned Cook-Off, we take pride in providing a fun and fair competition. Whether this is your 1st time or your 10th, the IBCA regulations are easy to follow.
$150 Entry Fee.
We follow IBCA Rules and Guidelines. Set up for contestants begins at 9:00am on Friday, June 14th, 2024. Don’t forget, our Head Cooks Meeting is Friday at 7:00pm at Storybook Park. This will also be your turn-in location.
IBCA cookers do NOT require a food permit to participate in this year’s event.

Contestant spots are labeled #1-55. They are 30×40 feet and have a 5- to 10-foot gap between spots. You will be able to choose your preferred spot while filling out the online application. Spots are reserved on a
first come first serve basis. Payment can be taken day-of, but this will not guarantee a spot. Water and electricity are not provided.
Have a group? TEXT (575) 399-1418 with your number of contestants and preferred location to reserve.
Awards will take place on the main stage at 5:30pm on Saturday the 15th. Please be present and have your ticket ready.

COOKED ON SITE–All food entries will be cooked on-site. The preparation and completion of any and all food entries in competition is within the confines of the cook-off site and during the time limits designated by the promoter.
COOKING SOURCES–Approved cooking/heat sources include all acceptable IBCA-Sanctioned wood heat sources, as well as Propane/Gas Grill. (Microwave, convection oven, conventional oven, stove-top and electric heat sources NOT allowed.)
ENTRIES PER CATEGORY — SOTP recognizes only one entry category per dish. (ie: Same food item/dish may NOT be entered in “Beans” AND “Anything Goes.”)
ENTRIES PER PIT— Multiple entries of separate food items/dishes may be made in each category, as long as each entry is paid for.
