KIDS’ Q

Do you know a young chef in training, or a little one who loves cooking? Then come on down for our Kids’ Q Pork Chop Cook-Off! Bring your cooker and an adult; we provide the pork chops.

This one’s just for the kids: adults are not allowed to prepare or cook. Two pork chops must be presented for judging, but there are no limitations on the recipe used—kids’ choice! Kid’s Q competitors will be divided into age brackets. Two-person teams are allowed if both contestants are in the same age division; otherwise, contestants will compete individually.

Sign-up for the Kids’ Q will be held at the festival Registration Tent on Friday, June 16th from 9am-5pm. The Kids’ Q cook-off judging and award ceremony will take place at 6pm the same day. There is a $10 fee to enter, with trophies and a small cash prize for the winners of each age bracket.
